I sat in on a presentation by Bob Eggleton as he performed a painting demonstration this morning. I missed the first image he created – a mythic landscape – but got to watch as he painted the head of a dinosaur. I absolutely love his work (and blogged about his work and book Greetings From Earth when we got copies into the store) and was thrilled to watch him paint, particularly since I have no artistic talent of my own. Rather than attempt to convey what it was like to watch Bob create, I took a bunch of photos…
Later on I cornered Bob and asked him to sign some of his books for us (hence, Greetings from Earth is now available signed through the Withywindle site, as is Dark Dreamers).
