In Addition to Joining the Compact, Now I’ve Got a BHAGG

I really like this… Diane over at the Big Green Purse Blog (a really terrific resource, by the way) is asking readers if they have a BHAGG for the new year – a Big Hairy Audacious Green Goal.  And she insists that it’s not a resolution (told you I like it!) but a challenge: what will you do this year to make a positive impact on the earth?

There are all kinds of directions I could go with this, but the most straightforward one – and the biggest, thereby being more in the audacious category – is my efforts towards keeping with the Compact. Not buying anything new for a whole year is pretty eco-friendly in my book.
