Email apology

It appears that one of my email addresses wasn’t working correctly for about a week or two, but I was unaware of this until AnotherJennifer pointed it out yesterday. I’ve fixed the problem and it should be all set, but my apologies to anyone who was trying to get through on the withywindlenature address and couldn’t.

In addition to fixing that address, I’ve added a page where you can contact me directly through the site. The ‘Ask a Naturalist’ button in the sidebar will take you to a contact form.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. It’s happened to me several times. I’ve put all my email addresses (and those I monitor for clients) into a distribution list in my email application, and added an item to my Start-the-Week checklist:
    * Send test message to [distribution list] with Delivery Receipt enabled.
If I don’t get all the delivery receipts within an hour, I start investigating.

    1. Good plan. In this case I made a change that I didn’t mean to regarding my DNS server which still enabled me to send from that address, but people trying to reply weren’t able to get through. Ah well… now I know how to NOT make that mistake again.
