I made the decision to close our eBay store this evening, after much thought. It was surprisingly difficult… I put quite a bit of time into it, and was sorry to shut it down. However, it was getting too time consuming to manage, and if I’m going to put that much effort into something related to the bookstore, it will be our regular website. And time is rather short these days, with increased family demands.
I still have a seller account, and will list books for auction periodically (and will be sure to blog and tweet our auction items); I just don’t have the time or energy to put into a whole separate store front these days. Perhaps I’ll re-open an eBay store in the future. Perhaps not.
