Finalists for Theodore Sturgeon and John W. Campbell Memorial Awards Announced

The finalists for this year’s John W. Campbell and Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Awards have been announced.

The John W. Campbell Memorial award is given for best SF novel of the year, and is presented during the Campbell Conference Awards Banquet at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, which will be held from July 10-13 this year. Finalists for the Campbell Award include novels by Brian Aldiss, Ken MacLeod, Sheri S. Tepper, Jeffrey Thomas and many more.

The Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award is given for the best short SF of the year, and is also presented during the Campbell Conference Awards Banquet. Finalists for the Sturgeon Award include stories by Elizabeth Bear, Jeffery Ford, Karen Joy Fowler, Gene Wolfe and many more.
