There’s a not-so-new web comic – very twisted and funny – called Making Fiends that a friend of mine alerted me to a while ago. I was reminded of it recently when I heard that it’s being made into a show for Nickelodeon. Their creators will be at Comic-Con in San Diego on July 26th.
I’m still debating whether or not to attend a Harry Potter midnight release party. There’s certainly no shortage of them, and who doesn’t love Harry Potter (ok, I suppose there’s a few weirdos out there), but I’m wondering if the main appeal is that this is the last ever (as far as we know) release party. Hmmm….. Of course there’s always the bonus of getting the book at the earliest possible moment, but then I’d be up way too late trying to read it.
