Frantic preparations Wednesday and Thursday (how did this weekend sneak up on me?) have finally lead Obo and I to Readercon… it’s Saturday morning and we’ve just opened. People are browsing our books, and things are well.
We arrived at 2 PM on Friday to set up; doors for the bookshop opened at 3 PM, and I had every intention of arriving at 1 PM, to make sure I had plenty of time to get everything set up. Unfortunately, I also planned on leaving at 1 PM (was I planning on teleporting??) and didn’t catch my mistake until about 12:45.
After discovering we had more room than anticipated, we decided to bring a third bookshelf and extra books on Saturday – we’ve only got one table, so space is limited. Off to work, lest I seem antisocial. I’ll have pictures posted soon.
