It only took until the beginning of March, but winter has finally arrived in northern Mass. This is the most snow we’ve had since October (ridiculously enough).

It missed western NY..but a wind storm is coming tonight…
Now that we actually have some significant snowfall, I can say that I really didn’t miss it. Hope it melts quickly… 🙂
These are important especially the unstructured time as I don’t think kids have enough of that these days…good article….
I agree – kids’ lives are SO structured, particularly for Jr. High and High School-aged. With all the demands put on their time, I don’t wonder that so many of them have no connection to the natural world.
Better late than never? 🙂
