I had really hoped to get out of the office for a walk today and head down to our lower sand parking lot to do some tracking. But I got hijacked by vacation camp who needed me to drive the bus for their indoor swimming trip. Bummer.
The family and I are going down to the NYC area at the end of the week, so I’m trying to figure out how I can get some tracking and/or birding in while we’re there. My husband and I have taken trips to the Rye Nature Center for birding in the past – maybe we can get away there for a few hours on Friday…
So in lieu of sharing any tracking adventures, I’ll post this little cutie who was found by our maintenance director one chilly October morning (he’s a little fuzzy, but you get the idea):
