Wahoo!! I successfully finished a whole month of blogging daily with the support of all the NaBloPoMo folks! I think I had a day where my post ended up published the day after, but regardless I made it though! And I plan on celebrating my accomplishment by… doing it again??? Yeeesssss…. I think I’ll just keep going, seeing as I’m on a roll.Why not continue through to the new year? When January nears, I will re-evaluate my blogging commitment and decide how many times a week I want to aim for posting. But for now, I’m digging the daily writing.
So what did I learn? That I really love writing every day. And Jennifer over at Another Jennifer made the observation that we shouldn’t be afraid to hit the ‘publish’ button. I admit that there were (many) days when I was. But being committed to a project like NaBloPoMo helped me do it anyway. I’ve learned that my writing doesn’t have to be stellar at every single moment to be worth posting – but by following through with my goal(s), I work at improving my craft and offering better material to any readers that happen by my blog.
